Online forums are useful resources for small businesses.  They can help you solve a problem; provide a means of business networking; and/or help you advertise your goods / services (particularly if you are offering a B2B product / service).

Question and answer style forum (the Yahoo Answers for startups).  Very intuitive,
easy to use, strong community.  Most questions receive a response within 2 hours.

Very similar to OnStartups with an equally high volume of activity.  Flip a coin and choose your favourite.

Strong forum (over 250,000 forum posts) with traditional message board.


4. Econnect by
Includes a mixture of good questions and some self-promotional posts.

5. UK Business Forums (United Kingdom)
Popular UK forum - some businesses will sit on the forum and promote their products with people asking questions.  Full access is free but you can pay membership allows.

Strong UK forum.

7. Flying Solo (Australia)
Great small business community with articles and strong forum that sees new posts every 10 minutes or so.
