Jason Shaw from Jace Design Canada has won DesignCrowd's inaugural "Best Logo Designer of 2009" award while DustinC (also from Canada) took out best newcomer.

Canadian designers dominated DesignCrowd's first ever Annual Logo Design Awards - three of the top five logo designers were from Canada while Intrepid Guppy Designs of Canada was a Runner Up for Best New Logo Designer in North America.  Australian designers were also 'punching above there weight' in 2009 with three of the top ten designers coming from down under.

DesignCrowd wishes to congratulate all designers who received an award or were listed as a Runner Up for the Best New Logo Designer award.
