Dear Designers and Customers,
We're pleased to announce that our recent acquisition of Brandstack has grown our design community to more than 50,000 designers (you heard me).
To celebrate this and the end of 2011, we've created a list of the 40 Best Logo Designers from 2011 on DesignCrowd.com.
But before we did that we also wanted to acknowledge / point out / trumpet that DesignCrowd (and its design community) had a huge year in 2011. Here are some milestones we've reached (which we hope have been - and/or will be in 2012 - of benefit to you):
- We now have 50,000 designers in our community!
- We launched a new website BrandCrowd.com
- We launched a New Zealand website (DesignCrowd.co.nz)
- We welcomed Starfish Ventures as an investor
- We visited Google HQ
- We hired some awesome new staff (still hiring if you're interested!)
- Designers uploaded hundreds of thousands of creative logos to our site (and this is the focus of this blog post)
