As expected, the 2014 FIFA World Cup has produced plenty of memorable moments - many of which were begging for attention by the world's design community. Sponsoring a number of World Cup soccer contests, DesignCrowd and its army of nearly 400,000 designers from around the world produced some hilarious photo hacks and memes. Rebranding the FIFA 2014 ball, Turning Dempsey into a superhero, photoshopping Ronaldo getting angry, recreating Cahill's wonder goal and hacking the spectacular dive by Fred were amongst the funniest submissions. 1. Photoshop Fred Diving
Designers were invited to photoshop an image capturing Brazilian player, Fred's famous dive, featuring signs and objects to produce a humorous graphic of Fred's dive of the day. The contest received 99 designs from 50 designers, below are the winning / best of designs. View the design brief here.

2. Photoshop Christiano Ronaldo Getting Angry in Other Scenes
Designers were asked to photoshop Portugal's Christiano Ronaldo getting angry in other scenes. The photogenic player is one of the most talented players in this year's World Cup but he's become more famous for his appearance and face-pulling. Designers were invites to photoshop Portugal's 'Angry Ronaldo' into other scenes to produce a funny or satirical graphic. 3. Photoshop Clint Dempsey as a Super Hero
Clint Dempsey's opening goal for the USA - in the first 60 seconds of the game - was so boss, we launched another contest to turn Clint into a national super-hero! Over 30 designers submitted a combined total of 62 photoshop designs to the contest. Read the full design brief here.

4. Replace the Ball in the Tim Cahill Wonder Goal
When Australia played the Netherlands last week, Australian player, Tim Cahill, scored the goal of the match - arguably the World Cup - when he received a perfect lob from 10 m away and kicked it into the net without the ball ever touching the ground! This contest asked designers to create a graphic that displayed Cahill's skill and precision with a ball by replacing the ball with other objects, signs, characters, animals. 110 designers submitted over 180 designs. 5. Brand the Ball Graphic Design Contest
