At last month's VMA's, Kanye West announced his intention to run for POTUS in 2020.
Since DesignCrowd recently gave republican wild card Donald Trump a helping hand in letting the American people see his full potential, we immediately knew what needed to be done. Kanye needed a great campaign logo.
But why stop at him? Celebrities are some of the most powerful brands out there – so why don't they have equally powerful logos? To right this terrible wrong, we asked our community of talented designers to give us logos worthy of pop-culture's finest. Five of our favorites are below!

Congratulations to our winner – Kanye West's campaign logo
Designer Cornel888 did a great job of creating a Kanye logo that encapsulated the star perfectly.
Citing the goal of depicting Kanye's self-importance, Cornel888 chose each element in the design very carefully, from the gold color to signify wealth and status, to a globe placed in the background to show that he is (literally) on top of the world. The Spanish quote reads "I am God", a nod both to his song "Yeezuz" and his gigantic ego. What a masterpiece.
Miley Cyrus
With a color-scheme and giant finger outline giving a nod to her (in)famous MTV Music Awards performance, this Miley logo has nailed it.
The playful "M" paired with the clean, sans-serif "iley" is a beautiful example of how to use fonts creatively.
Johnny Depp
Johnny Depp's Pirates Of The Caribbean alter ego, Jack Sparrow, is a highly iconic character, making him a great choice for a logo to instantly communicate a whole bunch of things. The slightly quirky serif typeface announces who the logo is for, and the emoji-type flat design of the graphic is right on trend.
Jennifer Lopez
A great example of how to incorporate lettering into design. This simple logo combines J Lo's initials into an elegant graphic which also ever-so-tastefully gives a nod to one of her most celebrated physical features. Design multitasking for the win!
Another Miley, because we love it
Another logo referencing its star's most famous physical attribute, in this case Miley's tongue. We love the depth created by the different shades of red and pink in the geometrically styled graphic.
A well-chosen font which mirrors the triangles of the graphic in its sharp corners of the "M" pull this logo together into a lovely, well-balanced design.
